The Podium Touchscreen Control

Turning the System and Computer on

• 当检测到周围有运动时，讲台的触摸屏应该会自动打开. 如果没有，请按任意按钮将其打开.
• The screen will read "Press here to begin". Press there.
• 你还必须打开电脑和显示器:
  • 按下显示器左下角的电源按钮(见右图).

Connecting a laptop/tablet/iPad

HDMI

• 将HDMI线放置在电缆柜的底座顶部.
• Connect the HDMI cord to your laptop.
• 在讲台的触摸屏上，按最右边的HDMI按钮.

VGA

• 

  从讲台最下面的抽屉里取出VGA线. This cord has an integrated audio cable.
• 将VGA线连接到笔记本电脑，并连接到讲台顶部电缆柜中的VGA连接器.
• 将集成音频电缆连接到电缆柜中的端口和笔记本电脑上的耳机插孔.
• 按下触摸屏上的笔记本电脑按钮.

MDP (DisplayPort)

•

• Plug the MDP connector into your laptop.
• 将电缆的另一端插入讲台顶部电缆柜中的HDMI插头(您可能需要拆除适配器)。.
• 按下触摸屏控制上的HDMI按钮.

播放DVD电影、蓝光电影或音频CD

1. 按下讲台内DVD播放器上的“弹出”按钮(见第3页图表)
2. 插入光盘，并再次按弹出按钮关闭托盘.
3. 按下讲台触摸屏控制面板上的DVD按钮.
4. 所有DVD控制(除了弹出按钮)都可以通过讲台的触摸屏控制面板访问.

Volume control

Speaker Volume

• 在任何屏幕上，您都可以使用讲台上触摸屏下的旋钮来调节扬声器的音量. See diagram on page 3. Clockwise turns your volume up.
• 您可以按屏幕右下角的静音键将扬声器静音.

Microphone Volume

• 您可以通过按触屏右下方的音频控制按钮来调节麦克风的音量. 按上下箭头调整麦克风的音量.

Using a Data DVD or CD

• 如果你需要在电脑上使用DVD或CD，在最下面的抽屉里有一个USB DVD播放器. 你可以把它插到讲台上的电脑前面，也可以插到显示器上.
• Closed Caption needs? 使用电脑的DVD播放机通过电脑播放电影.

Using a USB Memory Stick

Using the Document Camera

Raising the camera arm

• Only raise the arm using the handle. 从设备的正面向上拉，再向后拉. See image on the right.

Turning it on

• 按下观察面背面的电源按钮. 在讲台的触摸屏控制上，按下“Doc Cam”按钮.

Toggling the backlight

• 按下观察面背面的灯光按钮.

Zooming in and out

• 在相机的顶部，向上推刻度盘(如图所示)可以缩小，向下推刻度盘可以放大.

Turning it off

• 按下观察面背面的电源按钮.

Video control

Freezing the screen

• 按下触摸屏右侧的冻结按钮. Press it again to unfreeze the screen.

Muting the screen

• 按触摸屏右侧的显示静音键. The screen will go blank. Press it again to unmute the screen. 注意:按下触摸屏上的显示“打开”按钮不会使屏幕重新打开. 您必须使用“静音”按钮或“显示静音”按钮.

Using the microphone

• 把麦克风从讲台最下面的抽屉里拿出来. It is in a zipper case. 把接收盒系在腰带上，把麦克风别在衬衫上. 将接收盒顶部的开关拨动到开启位置. 看完后别忘了关掉它.
• 默认情况下，麦克风音量是最大的. 然后你必须调整扬声器的音量，这样你才能听到自己的声音. 所有的音量控制都是通过讲台的触摸屏进行的.

Turning everything off

• Navigate to Start -> Shut down.
• 在讲台的触摸屏控制上，按右下角的系统关闭按钮. Confirm by pressing power down.

Stylus Pens and Smart Tablet Functions

连接在触摸屏显示器上的触控笔可以用来代替鼠标进行导航, 而且还能在屏幕上用四种不同的颜色画画.

Drawing on the screen

当电脑第一次启动时，笔将默认使用它的“光标”功能.

1. 按下显示器顶部附近的一个颜色按钮(如上所示)来选择一种颜色.
2. 开始用触控笔在屏幕上画画. 第一次画画时，它会花一些时间出现.
3. 现在你可以切换节目，画任何你喜欢的东西.

Erasing from the screen

• To erase part of your line, 按下显示器顶部附近的橡皮擦按钮, 就在黑色墨水按钮的左边(如上所示)，画出你想要擦除的区域.
• 从你的屏幕上抹去整幅画, 点击屏幕上的智能墨水菜单，如图所示, and then select "Clear Ink" from the menu.

Advanced Ink Options

Several options, such as line thickness, pressure-sensitive thickness, 在屏幕上的智能墨水菜单中可以使用荧光笔, as shown below.
